Ruth Cherotich Koech CEC health and sanitation
Ruth Cherotich Koech the county executive committee member for the health docket, was born on 4th August 1973. She's from Ndalat Nandi County. She joined Hill school in the year 1980 for her primary school education.
She later joined Moi girls high school for her post primary education from the year 1988 after which she moved to the united states for her post secondary education.
She holds a degree in Nursing Biology and a masters degree in public health management with more than 20years experience in the health sector under her sleeve.
She has previously worked as a healthcare provider and as a public health administrator for IOWA State public health department in the United States of America managing budgets of over 250 million shillings.
She's also been exposed to the Kenyan healthcare system for more than six years. She believes that the current health system in the county requires an immediate and radical change as well as sustainable long term changes that will stand the test of time.
She is expected to use her vast experience and her international networks to help bring the much needed change in the Nandi county health docket.
She has promised to make Nandi health sector a model to be used by the country as a benchmark for sustainable health sector.
