Allegations have emerged on how Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu and Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola met with NASA lawyers before Supreme Court verdict.
Derick Malika Ngumu, Executive Director of Angaza Empowerment Network based in Mombasa exposes what transpired behind the public eye between the Supreme court judges and NASA.
In the filed petition which seeks to highlight the gross misconduct of the two judges, it is alleged that on August 17th, DCJ Mwilu held a two-hour conversation with Amos Wako and didn’t disclose the latter to other judges.
Justice Isaac Lenaola is accused of having held a
conversation with lawyer Steve Mwenesi of Law Society of Kenya (LSK) while the
case of the presidential petition was ongoing. According to the affidavit,
Mwilu had a communication with Orengo through a mobile number registered under
Orengo’s sister.
