Nandi Hills MCA Urges Kalenjin Community To Rally Behind Jubilee

Gideon Koech Nandi Hills MCA has asked Rift valley leaders and electorates to rally behind the president and his deputy ahead of the October 17th poll date. Speaking to supporters at the historic Kapkatet grounds, the first time legislator urged the residents to ensure that Uhuru and Ruto are re-elected.

Hon Koech who was elected on a jubilee ticket and is eyeing the Leader of Majority seat at the Nandi County Assembly vowed to ensure that Nandi residents will turn out in large numbers to see the reelection of the jubilee administration. "I want to assure you that as elected leaders from Nandi, we'll work with our governor and other elected leaders from the region to ensure that the current regime is back in office." He said amid cheers from the crowds.

The nullification of the presidential results by the Justice Maraga led supreme court had a great impact that led to renewed political activities in the country. The jubilee party did not receive the news very well leading to an onslaught on the judiciary.

The president and his deputy have over the time exuded confidence of an even larger win in the repeat polls. "We will beat them by an even bigger margin in the coming polls," Dp William Ruto has said on several occasions.
