Parliamentarians must always remember that they are the people’s representatives.They must put
themselves at the service of their nation and not their nation at their service as they often do.
That day when public office will cease being an opportunity to milk public coffers dry is when potential vested in our country will be realized.The move by some MP's to give unto themselves exorbitant allowances is just but an axiomatic manifestation of greed to say the least.
It is even worse to imagine the latter at this time when the country is crumbling in the cesspit of economic downturn,high cost of living,unemployment and food shortage.
It is for this reason that we are bound to stagnate for we invest a lot in consumers leaving the producers in turmoil.
