The news that Senator Sang had picked a female running mate was well received by Nandi residents. Dr. Yulita Mitei a lecturer at moi university has been a leader for quite sometime and her choice truly reflected on the importance Sang has placed on credentials and leadership qualities over anything else.
I first knew Dr Yulita, through her program that aimed at empowerment of the persons living with disabilities. She has been passionate about the transformation of their livelihoods a clear indicator that her office would be full of activities aimed at improving the lifestyles of the residents.
