at a past event
Very little was known about the Nandi jubilee deputy governor before she was selected by Stephen Sang as his running mate for the Nandi top seat come August general elections. The lady from Katanin village Ndalat ward has been a behind the scenes public servant having worked at various positions in the education sector.
Before tossing herself into the political world, she was deeply engulfed in the world of academia. A senior lecturer at the University of Eldoret, teaching analytical chemistry. Before this, she started as an assistant teacher in Ndurio Secondary School rising systematically into institutions of higher learning.
Academic Qualifications
She is an accomplished scholar. In her portfolio, she boasts of a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the university of Botswana. A Master of Science Degree in Chemistry from Kenyatta University. A bachelor of Education Science from Kenyatta university.
Her societal contributions
Despite not being on the limelight, Dr Yulita has proved to be someone who is concerned about the well being of the society. She has been vocal on the fight for the rights of persons living with disabilities. She is the chair of the disability mainstreaming committee at U.O.E. This is an advantage for the county since she will be able to use her connections and expertise in making sure that these special group interests are well catered for.

When she ran for the gubernatorial seat in the recently concluded primaries, no one expected that she would win. No one knew anything about her. She however in a way emerged victorious after joining hands with Stephen Sang and together are expected to form the next government that will transform Nandi.
We take this opportunity to wish her a successful career politically knowing very well the challenges associated with her new found position. She is able to cope with her new standing and from her we expect skilled and efficient public service.
